Turtle Creek Golf Course, previously named Palacios Golf Club, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Palacios, Texas.
The course first opened for play in 1966.
The course has wide open, "hit um and rip um," fairways. However. water does need to be avoided on several holes.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,279 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,650 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 515 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 170 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 185-yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Turtle Creek Golf Course is # 1, a 375 yard par-4.

True links style course... a sea breeze is blowing hard all the time... there are no trees to speak of and sometimes there is more sand in the fairway than in the traps... but the greens were in pretty good shape... just allow for the wind... even on putts.
