Water hazards and tight fairways combined with the softly rolling countryside and existing wooded areas make for a challenging round of golf for all abilities.

Watch out for # 4, a 560 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 1, a 185 yard par-3.
Timberview closed in 2015.
The course was purchased by a Midland-based foundation that donated it to Rivertree Academy in Fort Worth, which plans to use the property as private school and farm for youths.

timberview is a blue collar course that is a bargain. old style layout with very small greens. must be able to get up and done, you wont be on in regulation very often. used to be very quirky, but the new ownership has done a great job in improvements.
