Reopened in October, 2011. Oldest muny in Dallas designed by Jack Burke, Sr. in 1922 & redo by John Colligan. Hilly, tight tree-lined course that used to be "tricked-up". Very good re-design with small piece of land in that now the holes are challenging even though fairly short (6400-back). Very popular course since reopening in 2011 so get a tee time or expect to wait. Pros are friendly and will work you into a group.

Usually in much better shape. Fairways and greens have been very hard & dry this season so far. Beautiful old course with a nice layout; not too tough, but still a challenge. Doesn't set up well for long ball hitters. If they can green it up, it's well worth the $35 you'll spend!

Major renovation has transformed course from so-so muny to very nice course. Back nine was completely revamped. Not a long hitter's course, more about precise shot making. One negative to me is that a number of the greens are rectangular which is a bit over the top.
