Baywood Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Pasadena, Texas.
Back in December of 1938, Humble Oil purchased 185.49 acres at the corner of Red Bluff and Genoa-Red Bluff and conveyed it to Humble Recreation Club to construct and operate recreational facilities, known as Humble Country Club. The golf course opened in 1954. In 1967, it became known as Baywood Country Club.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6574 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5204 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 563 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 142 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 360 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Baywood Country Club is # 16, a 142 yard par-3.
Baywood Country Club closed in December 2008. Apartments are planned for the property.
