The Golf Club at the Resort is a Semi-private (open to the public) 18 hole golf course located in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Golf Club At the Resort first opened for play in 2003. The course was designed by Keith Flatt and Bob Mase.
The Golf Club at The Resort is a 6,626-yard, Par 72, 18-Hole Championship Golf Course. It is located on the eastern shore of Eagle Mountain Lake, amid beautiful rolling topography, live oaks and an abundance of wildlife.
The Golf Club at the Resort was significantly redesigned in 2006. Improvements included new greens, additional mature tees planted and over 25 additional bunkers were strategically placed. and the rerouting of three entire holes to take advantage of the rolling terrain and maximize player enjoyment. The result is a most playable course, medium length 6,626 yard course that should be all the challenge you want, bringing every club in your bag into play!
From the fairways, The Golf Club at the Resort requires a deft touch with your iron game. Several holes are guarded by water, rock walls and raised greens. Bunkers guard most approaches while the greens themselves are small and undulating, demanding a soft touch with the putter. Overall, this is a picturesque, playable, course that is a strategic, yet fun, layout and a true "shotmakers" course, where skill is reward more than brute strength.
From the back tees, the course plays to a U.S.G.A. slope rating of 144 and a course rating of 72.8.
