The $45 price with cart seemed a bit pricey but Galveston is a resort area. The course was in excellent condition. Fairways, tees bunkers and greens were all in great shape. Lots of water on the course but a fair layout. I played the course years ago when it was the Galveston Municipal Course and the course has improved so much it is hard to recognize as the same course.

Was in Galveston for a conference. Really enjoyed the condition of the course for being the middle of July. Fairways, bunkers, and greens in great shape. Got behind a large group. I think they went out as two fivesomes. We had a gap, but caught them on the back nine, so that slowed us a down a little (not that big a deal though). Didn't see a cart girl until the back nine. Thought it was a pretty good course for the money, until I saw what the other commenters paid. That being said, I would still go back.

Having a Groupon made this a great deal. Wind was unbelievable the day we played. Greens were in great shape and fast. I hope to go back

This course has become my home course, and is not a course that can be mastered from overplay. Has many elements which change on a daily bases that can effect your score. You have to be in the middle if you want to score well.

Very challenging course with the wind and water.

This course is now known as Moody Gardens Golf Club. It just finished with a 14 million dollar renovation. I had played Galveston Municipal before and it was really run down. This course is now top notch.
