Country Place Golf Club plays to a par-73 and maximum distance of 6,791 yards. The course rating is 73.6 with a slope rating of 136. The women's tees measure 5,624 yards and play to a par-74.
# 1 - 380 yards - par 4 - Handicap 9: Slight dog leg right. Hookers will find trees and water on the left, slicers - trees on the right. Long slight fade is best. Two big bunkers guard each side of the elevated green.
# 2 - 490 yards - par 5 - Handicap 3: Slight dog leg left. Long hitters will find water on the right with a straight drive. Long draw is best for a chance to get on in two. Watch out for long fairway bunker on the left and water on the right. Water also guards the front and right side of the well bunkered green.
# 3 - 168 yards - par 3 - Handicap 15 Looks so easy but many tee shots find the bunker on the right or the strategic tree and grass bunker on the left. Some pin placements will test your putting skill.
# 4 - 381 yards - par 4 - Handicap 7 A straight forward hole with a fairway that narrows considerably at 150 yards out. Slicers risk O.B. on the right while a long hitter with a big draw could reach water and trees on the left. Twin bunkers guard the fairly flat green.
# 5 - 157 yards - par 3 - Handicap 17 Fairly easy hole guarded by 3 bunkers. The green has some subtle breaks.
# 6 - 462 yards - par 5 - Handicap 11 Slight dog leg right guarded by 3 fairway bunkers and water down the right side and in front of the green. Bunkers on the left and in back of a green with some tricky breaks depending on pin placement.
# 7 - 349 yards - par 4 - Handicap 13 Straight, fairly easy hole. Long accurate drives will set up a birdie opportunity. Water on the left will catch big draws and pulled tee shots. A fairway bunker or O.B. can catch tee shots sprayed to the right. Two large bunkers flank the green.
# 8 - 410 yards - par 4 - Handicap 5 One of the testier holes on the course. Attempts to cut the corner on this dog left left may find the water. Even if you clear the water, a huge tree can grab your ball and throw it back in. Easy to get in jail on the right. Sloping green will test your approach shot with bunkers in front and on the left.
# 9 - 445 yards - par 4 (par 5 for women) - Handicap 1 The "Signature Hole." Sharp dog leg left. Long, straight shots can go throught the fairway and into the trees or O.B. Cut it too far left and your ball drowns. Cut it too short and you're in the trees or a fairway bunker. Second shot is critical with water on the left that wraps around behind the slick green flanked by two testy bunkers.
# 10 - 531 yards - par 5 - Handicap 8 Water everywhere down the left side and in front of the ladies tees. Two big fairway bunkers on the right. Brave souls going for it in two will have their courage tested by the big bunker guarding the left front of the steeply sloped green.
# 11 - 182 yards - par 3 - Handicap 12 Short shots will find the water or one of the two bunkers protecting this steeply sloped green.
# 12 - 393 yards - par 4 - Handicap 4 Sluggers who can keep it in this narrow fairway will have a birdie opportunity if they can read the breaks on this sloping green. Bunkers guard the left and right and there is water to the right of the green.
# 13 - 414 yards - par 4 - Handicap 10 Long knockers delight if you can hit a slight fade. Otherwise you could be in the woods on the right, O.B. or in the ditch on the left. Steep elevated green with a small bunker on the left.
# 14 - 392 yards - par 4 - Handicap 14 Tee it high and let if fly! Very little trouble until you get to the green with a bunker on the left and trees on the right. Good birdie hole.
# 15 - 180 yards - par 3 - Handicap 16 Don't let that 18 handicap lull you into a false sense of security as it's very easy to find the bunkers flanking this elevated green. Pulled tee shots for for a swim!
# 16 - 530 yards - par 5 - Handicap 2 Daring hitters can bite off as much as they can chew over the water which runs down the whole right side and in front of the green on this testy sharp dog leg right hole. Long straight hitters can find the fairway bunker or more water just beyond it. Only the longest and bravest will try to get on in two. Better lay up for a short pitch to this green as it very shallow front to back, has subtle slopes and is armed with three bunkers.
# 17 - 445 yards - par 4 - Handicap 6 "Signature Dolly Parton Fairway Bunker," guards the right side of this long fairway. Trees on the left and O.B. on McHard Rd. on the right. Water further down on the left and two bunkers threaten approach shots to the green.
# 18 - 482 yards - par 5 - Handicap 18 Other than a rather narrow tee shot landing area, this is a fairly easy finishing hole with lots of trees flanking the fairway but has a green with enough crowns and swales to make it easy to 3 putt!

Course is not something that would impress your boss but is a nice place for some practice. Very affordable rates for what was a private country club. Some folks won't like the narrow fairways, short quirky doglegs, and fast greens but the condition of the course is well worth the $20-30 you will pay.
