Despite what it says above in the course description, there are no sand bunkers at The Hawk (although there's more than enough sand on the practice range--pretty much the biggest downer about the place). It's less hilly than you might expect; but then again, there's more break in those gentle slopes than you might think. If you don't get out of the city much for golf, you should find The Hawk an enjoyable overall experience. It's a friendly atmosphere, and it'll give you all the game you want from any set of tees you pick.

Tucked a little out of the way but nice place to play. Pace of play is great even when they are busy.

A real nice layout. Too bad they can't afford to water the fairways and do better greens maintenance. The greens had been verticut some time before, but had not grown back in well.
