Olympia Hills is a Finger, Dye, Spann Design Group Layout. The course first opened for play in February, 2000.
The course features dramatic elevation changes on holes 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, and 13, dropping 50 feet or more from tee to green. Olympia Hills offers great golf, some breathtaking holes and an encounter with some of the largest, most picturesque live oaks in Bexar County.
The golf course has four sets of tees measuring 6,923 from the championship to 5,534 from the forward. The layout boasts naturally undulating topography, man-made mounds and strategic placement of bunkers, as well as native South Texas vegetation and wildlife that can be seen throughout.

Great layout. Played a couple of days after big rains, so a little muddy and very little roll. slow greens, but very true... really enjoyed the course. Lots of places to loose balls and add a few strokes. The disign is great. Who ever laid this out, like to trap the front of the greens.... take an extra club and be sure to clear them.. Nice people.

This course has come around to an overall playing experience in the last 2 years. The front 9 is a great treat(tight and narrow) for any course. the back opens up and you can relax a bit. Makes for a nice outing.

Interesting, challenging layout with few level lies on the front nine. Bring your A game or you'll need extra balls. Holes 6-8 are the most challenging back-to-back in the area. The numerous sand traps can be very damp in the mornings. Using a gap wedge or something with less bounce is a good idea when encountering this.
