Woodbridge Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Wylie, Texas.
The course first opened for play in 1999. The course was designed by Singletary Golf Services.
This woodlands-style course, situated in natural wetlands areas, has water coming into play on almost every hole. With fifteen doglegged tree-lined fairways, shot placement is more critical off the tee than yardage. The fairways are gently contoured and, with only a moderate cut of rough, are relatively forgiving. While the greens vary in size, they are all heavily undulating.
#5, a 429-yard, par 4, which plays uphill and through an alley of trees. The green is protected by a pond and waterfall to the left and sand bunkers to the right and rear, which mandates a delicate touch on the approach.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,088 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,981 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 13, a par-5 that plays to 614 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 433-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Woodbridge is # 13, a 169 yard par-3.

This is an excellent course for the money. One of the better values in the DFW area, and very well maintained. Is it a challenging course? Yes. Lots of forced carrys? Yes. Will it make you a better golfer? Yes. If you want lots of straight, short, boring holes try Waterview five miles away.

Hard for short hitters, a lot of forced carrys to several green. This also leads to slow play when you have to layup on a par 4 and then have the tricky pitch over the hazard. This cource has a great practice facility.

Hard for high handicap players or seniors. To many forced carrys to the greens. Not long from the whites but lots of bunkers both fairway and green side. Pace a little slow normally because of the above mentioned problems, a lot of par 4's turn into 5 because if you are not long you have to lay up can't run ball up.

Played in three hours fiftenn minutes - good, because 104 degrees. Course in good condition for heat and dry conditions. Need to hit straight or bring lots of balls. Sand traps could use a little more sand.

I love this course. Staff is superior and the layout is demanding. Playing it regularly makes me a better golfer at other courses as well.

Great golf course. Well maintained and has the best staff around! If you don't hit it fairly straight, bring some extra balls. Sand traps could use a little work but if you don't hit in them don't worry about them! I will highly recommend this course to anyone.
