Detailed description of Willow Springs Golf Course
Willow Springs Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in San Antonio, Texas.
Willow Springs has been the site of several Texas Opens and frequent local amateur tournaments. It is located in east San Antonio across the street from the AT&T Center.
The course fetures long, open fairways and elevation changes. Large ponds and the Salado Creek will challege your shot making capabilities.
The second hole is a monster! It is a 663-yard, winding par 5 and it has a well-guarded green. This is the longest hole in San Antonio.

Considering the problems they had a couple years ago with "grass killer" accidently being sprayed on the course. I was totally impressed with the comeback. Greens are actually better than most same catagory courses in the area. course is in fantastic condition..... "CUDOS" to the staff....
