Detailed description of Lake Park Golf Course, Regulation Course
Lake Park Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Lewisville, Texas. The facility has an 18-hole rgulation course and a lighted 9-hole executive course. They are named The Rgulation Course and The Executive Course.
Lake Park Regulation Golf Course opened in 1996. The course was designed by Jeffrey D. Brauer.
Lake Park Regulation Course is a picturesque and golfer-friendly 18-hole championship golf course bordering the shores of Lake Lewisville. Gentle mounding frames rolling bermuda fairways and greens, creating a layout that is appreciated by golfers of all skill levels.
Lake Park Rgulation Course plays to a par-70 and maximum distance of 6,135 yards. The course rating is 68.3 and the slope rating is 108.

Good basic course, especially for players who are just learning or have been laying off a while, as there is some, but not too much difficulty. Fairly flat layout, close to Lake Lewisville, so can be tougher in windy / stormy conditions.

Wide open but players in front slowed down pace of play.

Not a hard course, other than a few water challenges. There is always a breeze off Lake Lewisville, so that is very nice in the summer. To keep the greens healthy in the summer, they let them grow a bit long and thus are slow. Overall, a pleasant experience.
