Sugartree Golf Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Dennis, Texas.
Sugartree Golf Club first opened for play in 1987. The course was designed by Phil Lumsden.
The 6,726 yard, par 71 layout includes the banks of the Brazos River, challenging fairways lined by live oaks, pecans, hackberry trees, and others. Sugartree is definitely a shot maker's golf course with water coming into play on thirteen of the eighteen holes.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,726 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,254 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 550 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 184 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 415 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Sugartree Golf Club is # 6, a 388 yard par-4.

Played Sugar Tree numerous times over the years - played recently using Avid Golfer coupon - $16.xx INCREDIBLE RATE. Course is in magnificent shape....tee box to greens (which putted with considerable pace). Course is a great getaway from the DFW Metroplex........I highly recommend this course.

A little out of the way since I live east of Dallas, but worth the drive. A thinker's shot making course for sure. Definitely not wide open. But it was in great shape, and a lot of fun to play.
