Jordan River Par Three Golf Course first opened for play in 1985.
The course has tree-lined fairways and small, fast, target-style greens, placing a premium on accuracy and proper club selection. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are both sand and grass bunkers on the course.
Par for the course is 27. From the back tees the course plays to 1215 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 1,037 yards. The longest hole on the course is #6 a 183 yard par-3. The shortest hole on the course is #1, it measures only 80 yards.
The Jordan River Par Three Golf Course closed October 31, 2014.
The facility is now named Roots Disc Golf Course and was officially opened on Nov 22, 2014 at the former location for the Jordan River Par-3 Golf Course.
