Williston Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Williston, Vermont.
Built in and around the former Talcott family farm in a parkland setting, Williston has a pleasant variety of flat and undulating holes. The course first opened for play in the 1927.
A complete redesign in the late 1960's by Ben Murray reshaped and rerouted the course. An aggressive tree planting program at that time created fairways, that today, are lined with majestic maples, pines and willows.
The course's unique charm is complimented by breathtaking views of Camel's Hump and the Green Mountains. Measuring 5,725 yards from the back tees, Williston Golf Club presents a challenge to the low handicapper, who often feel they will bring Williston to its knees. The reverse usually occurs. On the flip side, High handicappers can play a round that allows them to score well.
They claim to have "the finest conditioning of any course in Vermont and the greens fee is only $32!!!!
Hole #16 named Aces (pictured above): Plays 90 - 110 yards downhill to a well bunkered and severely sloped green fronted by a pond. More aces have been recorded on this hole than any other hole in Vermont. In fact, since 1960 the 16th has averaged just over 5 aces a year!

Played early, and found the pace of play was good for this course. It can get very slow later in the day. The conditions on the course were very good. Undulating and slanting greens were a challenge.
