Virginia Tech Golf Course is a Public 9 hole golf course  located in Blacksburg,Virginia.

Virginia Tech Golf Course first opened for play in 1973. The course was designed by Buddy Loving.

The course was built on gently rolling hills.  It is open to Virginia Tech faculty and staff.  The course is receptive to beginners and is very open. 

If playing a double loop 18 hole round, par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,448 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,364 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4 /13, a par-5 that plays to 528 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8/ 17, a par-3 that plays to 167 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4/ 13, the 528-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 3 / 12, a 187 yard par-3.
