Rainbow Springs Golf Club is a Resort/Public, 36 hole golf course located in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses, they are: The North Moraine (Championship Course) and The South Moraine (Executive Course). Locals call the "Big Mo" and "Little Mo"
Built in exactly 143 days, the Rainbow Springs Golf Club was known as the "miracle of Mukwonago" when opened in 1962. The two courses at Rainbow Springs were designed by Francis Schroedel.
The 18-hole "South Moraine" course is the shorter of the two courses. The South Moraine plays to a par-60 and plays to 4,523 yards from the longest tees.
The 18-hole "North Moraine" course plays to a par-72 and measures 6,914 yards from the longest tees.
The State Department of Natural Resources purchased the courses along with land totaling 970 acres in August 2008.
As part of the purchase agreement, the courses remained open two years under a lease agreement. The agreement ended in 2010 and the land has reverted to its natural state, to be used by hunters, fishermen, hikers and campers.
