Butte des Morts Golf Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Originally acres of farmland, Butte des Morts Country Club was established in the 1920's and has since evolved into one of the finest private golf clubs in Wisconsin. It was meticulously designed by famed golf architect W.C. Jackson of Chicago, and in late spring of 1924, the first grass seed was spread by BDM's longtime greenskeeper, Jack Taylor.
Known for its distinctive design and immaculately-maintained greens, Butte des Morts Country Club's championship golf course provides a memorable links experience. Their 18 holes put golfers of all levels to the test with narrow fairways and large, sloping greens spread across 142 scenic acres.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6,165 yards. From the forward tees the course measures ,5738 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 558 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 116 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 445 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Butte des Morts Golf Club is # 17, the 116 yard par-3.
