Detailed description of Star Valley View Golf Course
Star Valley View Golf Course is an 18 hole publicgolf course, formerly the Valli Vu 9 hole golf course, located in Afton, Wyoming.
Valli Vu golf course first opened for play in 1970. The course closed in 2007 and reopened in 2010 as Star Valley View, after a total redesign and expansion to 18 holes. Star Valley was designed by Johnny Miller.
The golf course has great views because it was built against the mountains of Bridger National Forest. Many of the fairways are tree lined, and there is a lake that comes into play on several holes. The greens vary in size and a couple of them are elevated. The fairways are typically hilly, but there are some with level lies

Blue tees: par-70, 5,663 yards, 67.1 / 115
Gold tees: par-70, 5,335 yards, 71.4 / 117(W)
Red tees: par-70, 4,800 yards, 68.1/ 109(W)

Course reopened in 2010 as an 18 hole course, believe it was a Johnny Miller design. Fun course to play and generally in good condition. Have played each year since it reopened and each year its condition gets better. No clubhouse yet and that would be a nice addition but understandable with the economic conditions since 2008. Worth playing.
