Carambola Golf & Country Club opened for play in 1966. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.

This Trent Jones signature course is the recipient of Golf Magazine’s Gold Medal Award and a "must play" for any true lover of the game of golf.

The Carambola Golf & Country Club golf course plays to a par 72, and maximum ditsance of 6,843 yards. The course features rolling terrain, nearly 100 bunkers and four of the best par 3’s anywhere. Natural spring-like ponds come into play on holes 5 and 14. The most challenging hole is the signature #8, a 223-yard, par 3, which requires an uphill tee shot to a well-bunkered green.
