Solid track. Gets lots of play. Good value for the money. Friendly staff. Fair test of golf with a few hidden hazards. A good "C+ " course. Fun course, would play if nearby but wouldn't make a vacation out of it.

Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

This is a kind of silly layout, on several holes you have to double back on the hole you just finished, into range of shots coming from golfers behind you. The fairways are all elevated, with dirt, mud, casual water, etc. in the borrow areas where the fairways were excavated from. Because the fairways are crowned, they are hard to hold when it is fast and firm and the same goes for the greens. There is hardly a level lie on the fairways and the greens are pretty extreme.

Bottom line: Better courses for less nearby, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Course was in good condition, but a little wet in spots. Pace of play ruined the day.Rangers need to enforce reasonable rate of play rules.

The course is completely over-watered the last 2 times that I have played it. There is something wrong with playing a muddy course in July in Arizona when there has been no rain since February. The turf conditions have been deteriorating for several years, but this is the worst that i have ever seen this course.

Course is tough and tight. Most greens are elevated so bump and run is not an option, lob wedge is a must. Course in much better shape under Eagle Management. Greens have a lot of slope but are putting smooth. Very challenging and hard to score well.

It's not a bad course, it's just not one of the better courses you'll find around the valley. I've played a few times before and usually the pace is very slow, but this last time was ok. It's definitely good for the price during the pricey winter season.

Here's a course which has improved greatly over the past couple years as I average playing it a handful of times a year. The course is tight at times (both water and bunkering), albeit a bit short to compensate, and requires a good deal of thought. The greens are quite undulated and require some good reading skills. They do not overseed other than the fairways and around greens , which means errant tee shots not TOO far off, are actually rewarded 20-30 yards distance wise, a definite negative. Get it on the right portion of the green for a chance at one putt. Also, beware the 18th fairway as we ALWAYS get a little bit of 'action' from off the driving range along the right side...they really should revamp their safety system between. Conditions do get a little 'ratty' during the summer months, compared to others in the area. Price is always more than fair though.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles

Since being bought by a new company, the course is in much better shape than it was previously. It is challenging but fair. The bunkers are in better shape than the average affordable public course in the Phoenix metro area. On the negative side, they still have significant drainage problems resulting in areas of standing water, but overall its a better course for it's price than many of it's competitors.
