Southern Ridge Golf Club, formerly known as Bougainvillea Golf Club and before that named Cotton Fields Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Laveen, Arizona.
Originally opened in 1993 as a 36-hole facility, the facility was consolidated in the early 2000s as an 18 hole course. The original courses were designed by Dan Pohl. The Southern Ridge Golf Club Golf Course has been rennovated by Mike Conner and Dave Beckham.
The course wanders through a quiet residential development but you'll still feel far from civilization thanks to the dramatic backdrop provided by the South and Estrella Mountains. The layout has six par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s, a slightly unusual combination of holes for a championship golf course. At 6,751 yards from the back tees, the course offers a fair amount of length and there are some subtle but tricky undulations on the greens. Beginners shouldn't feel too intimidated by the golf course though since the forgiving fairways have plenty of room. They are nice and wide but you still have to play smart since there are more than 50 bunkers strategically surrounding them.

Sorry, but this course no longer exists. Both "Cotton Fields" courses were condensed into one course called Bougainvillea. It's a wonderful combination of the two older tracks into an ever-improving, challenging layout.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Course is a decent layout and greens are in nice shape. A bit off the beaten path, but that's not a bad thing. Have played here about six times previously, and I'll definitely play here again.
