This is the second time I have played since the major makeover/restoration. The LPGA event here last week had the course in very good condition given the newness. This is just a classic, elegant golf course with no gimmicks but tough to score well on. We played in well under 4 hours, the "clubhouse" is still a temporary facility, but Papago has been restored to it's former glory.

After an LPGA event, expected better. Greens were hard and fast nothing held. Course has no directional markings for carts, hard to find the next hole. One bathroom on the whole course. Very over priced for the amenities. Trailer for clubhouse, very disappointing.

Papago Golf Course is a fantastic property. This course holds several qualifiers each year. The greens and fairways are in excellent shape and the desert rough areas are cleaned up well. Well worth playing. The course looks easy, but can eat your lunch if you are careless.
