Bear Mountain Golf Course is situated 7,000 feet above sea level, so expect your shots to travel further than normal. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are small. Even though there is only one water hazard in play on the course, there are many sand bunkers that can affect your shots.
Par for the course is 35. From the back tees the course plays to 2,730 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,208 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 527 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 137 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 527 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Bear Mountain Golf Course is # 5, a 138 yard par-3.
