Great price for a senior player after 11am - $30 walking. Very hilly course - a good workout. Great design - lots of elevation changes, doglegs, tree-lined fairways, etc., but with birdie opportunities as well.

THis is a very good course to test your skills. Some of the views on the front nine are worth taking in before you hit your tee shot. If you are new in the area then its a course worth driving upto.

Joe in the pro shop starts off the experience with his good humor and professionalism. I love this course. It is very difficulty and has improved my game over the years.

You need to play this course more than once to realize the roll you get from your Tee shot. Greens are like putting on glass. All in all the course was in pretty good shape. Not an easy course to play.

Very nice course, very fast greens and great weather the day we were there.

My brother came out of the pro shop after I'd instructed him to go and check in, suggesting he'd have been out sooner if the staff wasn't autistic. A couple of the walks from green to tee present a real and present danger from oncoming golfers hitting from the tees of the hole just completed, as does the 9th fairway's proximity to the driving range slicers. For the fairways that present a ridiculous roll, a little more watering, fertilizer and aeration might provide a more realistic golf experience. Hitting right of the right side cartpath and finding your ball in the left rough with nothing but gravity and roll to blame is difficult to comprehend or appreciate. Food service and quality were positives.

Great hilly course, hard to find a level lie so it helps improve my game. Very senic area next to a reservoir and lots of trees in the valley.

Greens are too fast and sloped. Fairway lies are way more difficult than 120 slope rating. I know some local courses with slope of 130 that are easier than this. If you like a tough course and care not about handicap, it is nice.

Crystal Springs is a very difficult course for the mid handicapped player. I usually play about 10 over my handicap on this course, especially if I play from the tips.
The course is in great shape for all the play it gets. Play can be very slow play on weekends due extra player and players who have a difficult time playing the course. Everyone should probably play up at least one tee box.

Beautiful area, but the course is old and needs to be renovated. Facilities need to be upgraded as well. Very tight course -- if you're not on the fairway, you're in trouble.

it is a beautiful golf course. location is easy to get to and the scenery is just great. it can be a tough course if you play the black tees.

playing Crystal Springs is always a treat...simply a stellar layout, overlooking the resevoir, majestic views...abundant on-course wildlife co-existing with golf...highly memorable , and a terrific workout for those who choose to walk...no, it's not country club lush, turf conditions could be better, but again, a round at Crystal is always something special... rating should be much closer to a four than a three...
