Pheasant Run Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Chowchilla, California.
Pheasant Run Golf Club first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by Richard Biggler.
The Pheasant Run Golf Club is a 200 acre, 18-hole championship golf course. The course includes 7,000 yards of rye grass fairways and nine lakes.
This award-winning 18-hole championship golf course has something for every golfer. Quick greens, manicured fairways, and the many lakes offer a challenging and rewarding test. The course is in great shape year around and our unique grass blend ensures green fairways all year. Pheasant Run Golf Club is close to Merced, Fresno and just about anywhere in Northern California.
Located less than two hours from the Bay Area, 75 miles from Yosemite National Park, and 30 miles north of Fresno, Pheasant Run Golf Club is a true player's course.
Black tees: par 72, 7,322 yards, course rating 75.1, slope rating 129.
Blue tees: par 72, 6,851 yards, course rating 73.3, slope rating 123.
White tees: par 72, 6,349 yards, course rating 70.9, slope rating 117.
Gold tees: par 73, 5,864 yards, course rating 74.2, slope rating 126.

We stay at the Lakes RV Park and come up often from Fresno 38 miles. Beautiful RV park, 45$ per night includes 2 rounds of golf. 23$ for cart. We just can't beat that. Love the course would recommend to all. Fairways and greens are great. Sand traps could be improved with better sand.

Lots of water and long so pick your choice of tee carefully, the layout is pretty good but many of the greens slope sharply down to the water and are closely mowed so a decent shot that barely misses the green generally runs into the hazard especially the par 3 4th hole. The greens themselves are fair and roll well.

Very fun and all the challelng you want. Very windy in the afternoon.

Couse was in great shape and greens were excellent. The pace of play was good and our foursome had a great time. The winter rates are excellent and my son got to play for $2.00. There is water all around the course to challenge you and the 18th is reachable in 2 (par 5) if you want to challenge your game and go for the island green. Overall much better than most courses around here and a bargain, going back next week.

Water comes into play on 9 of the holes. Pace of play has been a problem at times; marshalls almost never seen. No on-course water or restroom facilities. Otherwise, a very good value.

It's a very nice golf day on this course. Their monthly membership deal is hard to beat. If I played more I would join. Staff is awesome and the clubhouse restaurant provides very good meals at affordable prices.
