One thing I dislike about this course is that there is on driving range, there are nets you can hit into for free. I play this course couple times a year. Fast fairways in the summer and they keep the greens in fair shape.

This course has a challenging layout and ample opportunity to grip it and rip it. Play in the winter months is rough as drainage is poor, and the freeway doesn't do much for ambiance on a few of the holes. Course conditions could be better. Despite its flaws, the combination of the mature growth and course design, which require that you work the ball, make this a player's course at reasonable prices. A favorite when I'm in the area.

I'm not sure who would think this is a great public course -- not much to it at all. Holes are quirky and uninspired. The freeway doesn't do much for the ambiance. Played it once and will never come back. Facilities are horribly dated.
