I really enjoyed playing this course. It has a few neat quirks, but it's very fair, and good for the novice or for someone who doesn't play more than a couple of times a month.

The best play in the region during the winter because it's all built on sand and drains exceptionally well. The links style layout is score friendly if you can avoid the water, which can make it a hard-hat course at times. Pace can also be an issue due to the number of beginners and popularity. Overall, a fun play with plenty of opportunity to grip it and rip it.

This is a fun course that I think is somewhat underreated. We played on a dry day in the middle of a real rainy week; the fairways were firm and fairly fast, the greens were in nice shape. The course drains very well compared to most courses in the Stockton/Sacramento area. The staff were courteous and helpful. Senior rate pricing makes this enjoyable course a real bargain.

This is a fun course but not easy.

This is a great course for the money! The Blue tee's are all you need at 6565 yds and the White Tees are fair for everyone with a little over 6000 yds. The staff and management are always trying to make it a place you want to play. Very competitive pricing with weekly deals. Right now try golf and cart for $35.00 on Wednesday's! Try this course in the winter as the course drains very well and carts are almost always allowed on the course! Notice I did not say anything about the "Bunkers"...this is the Central Valley and they are not very good anywhere.

This is a good course that I enjoy playing. It's challanging but not overly difficult. It's fun and fairly priced.
