The staff in the pro shop makes you feel like they're doing you a huge favor by letting you play their course. Unless you belong to the "good ol'boy's club" you're hard pressed to get an early starting time no matter how far in advance you call. The course itself is fun and challenging to want to play again but there are more friendlier places to play.

I just fininshed 18 with 2 players in 2 hours and 35 minutes! The weather is hot and the course is in excellent condition. The rough is cut much shorter which enables faster play. Tuesdays are booked solid because of the special $20 per player with cart.

Cart rental too high. Pace of play too slow . Usually 4 to 5 hours and slow golfers tent to not let faster golfers play through

The greens were in superb condition, and they are tough because of slope. Carts are way overpriced. Good beginner/intermediate course.

Creekside is a relatively easy course. I would rate it as the best public course in Modesto so it gets lots of play, thus the managers fell they can overcharge for its use. Fairways and greens are right now the best they have been this year.

The course is fun and relatively easy with several holes with good scoring opportunities. Nice practice greens and driving range. Nice conditions. That said, I'm done with Creekside. The pro shop makes you feel like you are lucky they let you play on 'their' course. No marshals are ever out on the course to push the pace, which was slow. I will tell people it's a nice golf course, but be prepared for a possible letdown by the time you finally tee off on #1 or after you finally come off 18.
