Detailed description of Mount Shasta Resort
Mount Shasta Resort, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Mount Shasta, California.
Mount Shasta Resort's 6,035-yard par 70, 18-hole course opened in the summer of 1993. Located in Siskiyou County, California, the spectacular demanding layout was designed by Jim Summers and Sandy Tatum at an elevation of 3,500 feet above sea level. The course features natural alpine terrain, undulated greens, and breathtaking views. The holes are uniquely different with three sets of tees and yardages.
SPECIAL, there is a Free Golf Clinic for kids ages 7 to 17, every Saturday at noon. Sign up in pro shop.
$56 (cart included), played on Thursday, June 2010 at noon
Staff had a taste of "arrogance" in their demeanor. Especially in the way they worried about my grand children.

Very beautiful course, challenging layout, good shape. Only problem was pace of play. There was no starter, so they called it self starting. Problem was a bunch of twosomes, a foursome, more twosomes... no twosomes put together so there were nealy twice as many groups on the course as should have been. Will play again but will come earlier or later, seemed like mid morning was crowded. Very hilly and some very narrow fairways. The course is very well marked green to tee box, but needs a little more yardage markers to give help pace of play.
