Rivers Edge Golf Course opened in 1961. The course was designed by Harry Rainville.
Rivers Edge Golf Course is an old type of design that offers a challenge to all caliber of players. The par 71 layout plays a bit longer than the scorcard says because of the five par 3's, three of which measure over 190 yards, and at times play into the prevailing winds. Two ponds come into play off the first tee to get your nerves working right away.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,506 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,595 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 563 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 152 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 382 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Rivers Edge Golf Course is # 12, the short 152 yard par-3.

Course was rather boring, no rough to speak of. You would have a hard time getting into trouble on this course. Fairway conditions were so so need more watering. Greens on the other hand were in excellent condition. Ball rolled very true. We rented clubs, they were junk, my 5 iron had a bent shaft, but for 10 bucks they were ok. Probably wouldnt play this course again

friendy course for scoring but prevailing winds can make it play much tougher than it's rating. staff is friendy, beer is cheap. plays very quick and when you're done the colorado river is just steps away. worth a visit if you're in laughlin and don't want to spend $100.00 to play

Have had the pleasure to play this course, almost every year, for 15 years. Staff has always been the best, course in playable shape, even in dry times. Needles can get hot and dry, but the price can make up for a little brown grass. But with the new pond, there isn't much of that anymore. If your in the area, play, and say Hi to J.C.; and the gang for me.
