Marin Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Novato, California.
The Marin Country Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1954. The course was designed by Lawrence Hughes. Robert Muir Graves redesigned the course in 1986. The course was again rennovated with completion in April 2008. Designed by John Harbottle, the newly renovated course boasts new irrigation, drainage, bunkers, and greens.
Marin Country Club Golf Course has been home to the 1993 U.S. Open Championship Qualification Tournament, the 2004 and 2011 U.S. Amateur Championship Qualifying Tournament, the 2008 U.S. Open Senior Amateur Championship Qualifying Tournament, and the 2010 U. S. Mid Amateur Championship Qualifying

Tight fairways - need to hit the ball straight. Lots of water and out of bounds. Nice fast greens. Easy to walk.

To many par 4's (12) with only three each of 3's and 5's. Unfriendly to guests since tees are not clearly identified and yardages are not well provided.
