Fun Course with a good layout. You can look up and have a big number. Several holes are hard to tell where you are going and where to aim. Overall a good public course with all that implies.

I love Soule Park. On my recent Ojai golf trip I had a really fun early morning round with Pat from Ventura. We arrived to find a shotgun slated to begin at Noon and the specter of having to promise to be off the course by 11:30. Also, no carts were available! I throw my Sun Mountain carry bag over my shoulder and headed out to the 1st tee where I was joined by Pat. We had a splendid morning round together. A wonderful track and a STEAL at the price!

Soule Park is a Fantastic Value, and better than most Municipal Courses in California, if not the Country. The layout is great , the people are terrific, the food is excellent, the carts are quick and dependable, the staff in the bar/restaurant are very nice, friendly and attentive. The Greens fee is a Bargain, a great value, and a really fun Golf Course. The Greens are challenging and in excellent shape, the Views of the surrounding mountains are stunning, and the weather is perfect. Best breakfast Burrito anywhere, super nice selection of great Beer on Tap in the clubhouse, etc. I'll be back, over and over again, this place is a winner. Thanks Soule Park.

I've played this course at least 100 times per year. I never have been bored with the course. The breaks on the green are awesome. The beauty of this course is breathtaking. Pace of play is no problem at all. Best kept secret in the area.

Nice layout. You don't have to be perfect off of the tee to score, but the approach shot is important.

This is a quiet, pleasant course to play with great views in every direction. When the mist is on the hills you feel like you are in the middle of a Chinese painting.

Ojai is worth the drive from Santa Barbara to play.

Soule Park has greatly improved in the last few years. There was a lot of grass on the course, the greens had good speed and rolled well, and they were challenging to putt. New management is now involved and they are shaving the grass around the greens, which will add another element to the play in the months ahead. I look forward to playing it again.

A fun and challenging course for all levels of players. Requires all your clubs and has a good mix of challenging shots with high risk/reward. I think the greens are a little too challenging, no easy birdies here. Best feature of this course is that it's not too busy, easy to get a tee time any day of the week.

Being a county owned course and funding not being a high priority the groundskeeper is doing an excellant job. The greens are in excellant condition and quick, fairways are being aerated and are still very playable, tee boxes great shape, bunkers some need more sand but the staff keeps them playable. This is by far the most challenging best municipal course in the county.

Quite a bit of teeth have been added to this course as a result of the remodel.

Soule Park is an exquisitely beautiful golf course, laid out on an old ojai ranch with the best views of the surrounding 6,900-foot peaks in the Mediterrean climate Ojai Valley. It is also fun to play, challenging with long par fours and difficult par 3s and speedy, but fair, greens. It is well managed by a year-old management team headed by Keith Brown, a veteran country club manager. The clubhouse, bar and restaurant staff is superb in that they are very friendly and give excellent service. Those of us who live in Ojai consider this golf course a great community asset. Check it out for a drink or dinner at sunset, too.
