Absolutely the finest maintaned and perhaps the most beautiful courses I have ever played - better than Aviara and Pelican by a considerable margin. Certainly on the "Bucket List".

Great chance to dream a bit and get throughly challenged. Nice to use a locker between plates that said "Michael Jordan" and "jack Nicklaus!"

The Canyons is one of the finest courses in the Desert. The 18th, a 456 yard par 4 over an arroyo, is one of the 2 most scenic finishing holes in the Desert along with Stone Eagle and one of the 3 toughest along with Stone Eagle and the Quarry. I played the day the course re-opened after it was closed for most of the summer and it was in pristine condition--perfectly manicured fairways, greens (which were suprisingly quick for summer bermuda)and bunkers. Play it if you have the chance!
