Weekday senior prices are very reasonable. Weekend, not so much. Don't know what the weekend looks like, but plenty of available tee times during the week.

I have played this course many times since opening. With the new management, they have raised their prices and will not allow walking Friday through Sunday. I now drive by and the parking lot is almost empty (unless a tournament). The management should allow walking anyday, possibly past 10:00 am. I can drive about 20 munutes further and pay less money for a nicer course! Rancho Vista Management, the lack of players after the changes should say something.

I have played here dozens of times since it opened. Great Ted Robinson design, always in good shape, nice staff, tee times easy to book and a great value. Many times the wind comes up in the afternoon and the course gets much more difficult. Lots of different tee settings for different playing abilities. The houses along the fairways do get hit by players who spray the ball. One of my favorite, every day courses.

Wonderful, challenging layout. Fairways are generous, but rough is rough! Greens are wicked fast, typical for the high desert. Sand traps are well-placed and well-maintained with a deep base. Maintenance staff are obvious by their presence, always polite, and entire course is well-groomed. The city can be proud; this is a jewel of a course.

It's a great course but challenging for the less experienced golfer. This is especially true for #10. Having said that, it's a lot of fun to play! Well worth any travel time involved.

THE best deal in town! Rancho Vista is an exceptional bargain in the LA basin. My son called for a morning tee time for Saturday (Father's day weekend), and they asked "what time would you like?" It does not happen in LA! We took the 10:07 tee time and completed the most enjoyable round in 4.5 hours. The price is right. The staff is friendly. The Ted Robinson-designed course is always in good shape. It takes 45 minutes of scenic freeway driving for me, but it's well worth the trip. The temperaure was 98 degrees that day, but constant dry desert breeze kept it pleasant all day. Try it.
