It is a little quirky, but fun. Some easy holes, some tough. Lots of undulations in the fairways and greens, make it challenging. Play in the morning, can get windy in the afternoon.

As a city owned course, it is getting lots of play but continues to be maintained well. The problem is that lots of beginners play because the course is short but they are slow and do not repair divots, ball marks etc.

Good value for the price! It's a muni course and gets a lot of play but is well maintained, relatively speaking. Greens are bumpy because people don't fix their divots. Good course to work on all aspects of your game. It is short in total length because it has a lot of par 3's, but don't let it fool you - it has a few challenging holes.

I am a fairly good player and truly enjoy Los Lagos for practicing. On most local golf courses I hit driver-9 iron or driver-wedge into most non-par-three holes. With 5 par fives, 9 par threes and 4 par fours from the back tees it's rare that I don't hit every club in the bag. The course conditioning day-in and day-out is as good as most private facilities and better than some. If you're lucky you will get a glimpse of two of the cutest red foxes you have ever seen. Their mom stole two Pro V1's from me, but it was worth it to see her scamper away. There are two ladies that run the starting desk in the early hours and they just couldn't be any more friendly and accomodating.

This is an unusual muni course with lots of par 3's but also par 5's. The course is kept in good condition especially considering that there are a lot of new golfers who play here which can tear up the course and also slow down play.

Course is short - Par 68 I think. Suggest a cart, though, as you have to cross over the Guadalupe Creek 4 times to play 18 holes... the layout is pretty tough. Course is well taken care of, staff is great, bar and clubhouse are nice, food and beer are good. Pace of play can be slow on the weekends -- place is beginner friendly. Always enjoy playing here!

Pace of play usually a problem with many "first time" golfers. Greens can sometimes be a problem late in day after a tournament.

Odd layout, a bit too long for walkers.

Good Course with reasonable prices. Weekday afternoons, allows you to do the entire course in a little over three hours. Other local courses charge a bit more and the play time's tend to be too long.

Some of the fairways were a little muddy or in need of repair. Had an issue with the grounds crew on 18 as they were trying to repair divots in the fairway andwould not get out themselves or carts out of the way. Also the back 9 had been sanded. It would have been nice to knowthis ahead of time.
