Overall enjoyed but difficulty with raised green made a little to difficult.

Just the right mix of challenge and fairness with a good price for courses in the area. I will play this course when I can.

Had 7:44AM tee-time and got off on time. Nice layout but challenging. Overall a good experience.

I played this course between Christmas and New Year's Day, so holiday rates were in force. I thought $60, including the cart, was a little bit high. The pace of play was very slow, particularly on the back nine. It took us close to 6 hours to complete the round. This may be due to it being a holiday week. I enjoyed my round because I shot a better score than usual for me--a 92. Fairways are pretty wide except for #'s 13 and 15 on the back nine, so off target drives do not create as many problems as is the case on some courses. I felt the greens were very fast, but fair in terms of shots staying on the green and not rolling off. Due to a recent rain there were places where the fairways were pretty soft, otherwise shots from the tee got a pretty decent roll after hitting the ground.

My "home course." Have played many times, and always a challenge. Has water in play on 5 holes, but not too frightening. Fairway bunkers are negotiable. Greenside bunkers, except on #17 + #18, are like cement, so use your lob wedge! Greens are in excellent shape and always a challenge for us high handicappers. Driving range has mats on one end, grass on the other, with well-maintained landing areas to shoot for. Well-maintained sand traps at both ends, plus chipping/pitching areas. Staff both at Driving Range and ProShop are friendly, and instructors are personable. Come and have fun!

The condition of this course has improved dramatically in the last year or so. The greens are smooth and receptive, but a bit slow. There are just a few bare spots on the fairways. The remodeled clubhouse and patio is great as is the food. The staff in the pro-shop and clubhouse are great. A fun golf course in good condition, but I really don’t like holes 13-15 because they are so unlike the other 15 in style. They seem out of sync with the course design

Play here often...great value compared to others in area. Better than average Muni course. Great facilities and personnel.

Played twice during the week, while staying at San Clemente State Beach. Living in San Diego this is a great course, at a halfway point, to play with friends living in LA.

This is a short regulation course, kinda average, decent layout, a few fun and challenging holes, greens are in good shape, the rest of the course, not so much. On the front 9, houses are not much of an issue, but on back 9, some holes have houses pretty close to fairways. They do have a nice clubhouse. My biggest negative about this course is the price, $75 for 12:45 tee time weekend, way too much! I paid $65 through golfnow.com, which was still over priced. If they brought the fees down another $10-15, I'd say it was competitive and worth the trip. Otherwise, I can think of other tracks in the area that are more competitively priced.

The wet winter weather has taken its toll on the course, fairways especially.

Short but well maintained. Fairways need some work but greens are excellent. Great pro. Best value in the area. Needs marshal to speed up pace of play.

Men's club member, play every Friday. Greens very good, but fairways deplorable. Too many areas that should be marked ground under repair, are not. I wanted to play regularly on Fridays, and this is the only course in So. O.C. that has a Friday Men's Club gig.

I'm a member of the ladies group. The greens are in excellent shape as always. The fairways are getting better as the club is putting in a lot of time to bring them back. It's working. The new club house and pro shop is beautiful. Food and staff are great.

Very good course for the price and area of Orange County. Greens are in great shape, ball sticks when you hit the greens. You get rewarded for a good shot.

Our weekly group of four to eight golfers has enjoyed this course in the past but we won't be returning. We finished 18 holes in 4 hours yet were continually harassed by marshals to speed it up and made to pick up on hole 11 as was the group behind us. We play every week and this has never happened on any of the courses we play. When we complained to pro shop we were told that the GPS showed us behind yet we finished in 4 hours. It was very disconcerting having marshals follow us around the course. We won't be coming back even though the course is only a mile from home!
