Attractive muni course, several challenging holes, greens in varying conditions but overall course is on good shape. Lovely mountain views .

I tried to edit an earlier review, but the website didn't allow me. So I'm creating a new review. The old review stated that "I wouldn't play this course again" but I would, I LOVE this course.

I still feel that the price for residents could be a bit better than those of non-residents. Maybe there could be a few more email deals or something for frequent local players. New management since July 2016 and you can tell there is a difference. They definitely seem to be more "local friendly" than the previous regime. I just hope that they continue on this path.

This "Muni" course's quality and facilities are well above the norm as far as "Muni" courses go. I recently played at a "golf course and country club" in Vegas and the quality of that course could never compare to Santa Barbara Golf Club.

I play this corse an average of three times a month. I play out of town courses on an average of 6 times a year.

A favorite with seniors in Santa Barbara. Holes 7 and 12 too long for par fours.

They are finishing up with serious renovations which are probably the result of environmentalist issues that deal with surface water runoff from surrounding urban areas. The course is in good shape and at this point will only get more attractive when new landscaping matures. For the "Santa Barbara" area, it is of reasonable value and plays fairly.

Not particularly a hard course but a great value and in good condition. In perfect Santa Barbara with perfect Santa Barbara weather.

This is a very well kept Municiapl Golf Course that gets lots of play. On the weekends, it can be slow, but overall the pace of play is average. The price is excellent, especially for residents of Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. It plays host to the best tournament in the area, the Santa Barbara City Championship over Memorial Day weekend.

Fairly easy course. Good fun. Some interesting holes. Usually played in late afternoon after work.
