Yolo Fliers Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Woodland, California.
The Yolo Fliers golf course first opened for play in 1919. In 1958 the course was expanded from 9 to 18 holes by Bob E. Baldock.
The Yolo Fliers Club, or "Fliers Club" as it is known to its members, is a private proprietary golf and country club with a long and proud history. Founded nearly a century ago by a group of aviation enthusiasts led by O.W.H. Pratt, the club was intended to be a haven for aerial enthusiasts and their families. Along with one of the finest private air fields on the West Coast, a clubhouse, swimming pool, 9-hole golf course and bowling alley were part of the original plan.
Today, Yolo Fliers Club offers a championship caliber 18 hole golf course, a 20,000 plus square foot clubhouse a complete practice facility with driving range, practice bunker, chipping green and 2 practice putting greens round out the golfing facility.
Yolo Fliers Golf Club iis a classic course laid out with tree-lined fairways including many large, beautiful specimen Valley Oaks. The fairways are Bermuda and the greens, all rebuilt in 2006 to USGA specifications by golf course designer Brad Bell, are bent grass and have been recognized by PGA professionals as better than most greens played on tour. Similarly, nearly all the bunkers have been rebuilt recently to enhance the esthetics and challenges of the course.
From any tee the course provides a chance for both the fun and the challenges of the game with a mixture of wide fairways, large, subtly sloped greens, well-placed bunkers and, of course, the rough and the trees. The course is recognized by both the USGA and NCGA as a championship venue as the Yolo Fliers Club has hosted qualifying tournaments for the Senior US Open, the US Open and the US Junior Amateur.

Nice fairway and green condition. Winds through a neighborhood on several holes. Worth a look
