The course was in very good condition - greens, fairways, and rough. The rough was mown and not ridiculously penal - great for the weekend golfer. The pace of play was great (less than 4 hours for the round). This is my third time this year at Indian Tree and I plan on several more.

Nice course. Price is right. Hard to read some greens, as they break uphill.

I thought the course was in good condition for this time of year. The greens were a little fast but that was ok. My biggest beef with this course is the staff, especially at the range shack. The older people who work there are not very friendly at all. They make me feel like I was inconviencing them. I don't get this feeling from the younger kids who work there. When I play with people on other courses and we talk about couses we've played, I have had several people say the same thing.

The course is always nice in the summer, but it is not that good any other time of the year. Fairways are usually ok, and greens are in fair condition. The length of the course is fairly decent (about 7000 yds from the back tees). Overall, I would say play this course during the summer, and avoid it during all other seasons.

The layout is interesting and not quite normal. Four holes altogether end up near the club house so it is a little confusing the first time you play the course. If you like courses where you have to watch the map because you can't see the greens when you are teeing off, you are going to love this course. It is a very pretty course for one that is found right in the midst of a major American city.

The greens were in terrible condition. The edges of the cups were collapsing and the greens had not been cut for at least 3 or four days and the green surface was pretty chopped up (disease or animals or both). The course layout is very bad. You actually have to cross another fairway to go from the 5th green to the 6th tee. The 6th and 9th holes return you to the clubhouse so pace of play gets bogged down on the 7th tee.

It's a fun coarse with some challenge ! I feel they think a little bit highly of themselves. One very negative is there range hours. They are terrible! In the heart of summer the range closes at like 6:30 pm or something rediculas like that!
