I found the course very lack luster for all the hype about the course. The front nine was very wide open like playing in a big field. All of the par 3 were very similar distance. No great views anywhere on the course. The powerlines running through the course does not help.Greens and Tee boxes where extremely beat up.Also a lot of bare spots around the Greens.

The range is disconnected (down the street)from the course, you have to take your car there. The management is less than friendly but the staff is good to excellent. Make sure that you follow the cart instructions/rules. It's a bit different here and GPS will shut off the cart in a wrong area. You can drive anywhere in the fairway, keep the cart out of the rough. The course has two defenses. The rough (very rough) and the greens (difficult). They protect the rough by keeping the carts out.

While the course is in very good shape overall the greens were much too hard and dry so they were very difficult to hold even on short approach shots.

Great course with fast greens and a good variety of holes. Worth playing even if the price is a little steep.

Golfweek and Golf Digest Top 10 You can play and they are correct. One of the most enjoyable courses anywhere. Fair yet challenging Pete Dye design. Greens are fast with subtle breaks. Very well-maintained municipal course that is run like a private club. Carts included in fees and include GPS. Combination of links style and wooded makes for a most enjoyable experience. Worth a drive from most anywhere.

Played on Sunday AM. Forced to start on the back nine, made the turn in less than 2 hours but had to wait 45 minutes to get off the front side (Men's League). Slow front side behind the league. Great course and facility. Greens were still aerated from last year - I believe. Didn't effect the putting. Worth the price if the pace of play were improved. No course ranger to keep things moving.
