In response to Mr Bill Monteiro of Winterhaven Florida and his ranking of our course, some clarification is needed. Mr. Monteiro identified himself, when he booked his tee time, as a member of the professional staff of his golf course in Winterhaven Florida (PGA or Golf Course Superintendents of America). Upon his arrival, Mr Monteiro could not produce the required identification which is required for a complementary round. Hence he, and his foursome, were charged green fees to his displeasure. Upon further investigation, a phone call to his club in Florida revealed he was a cart barn employee whom occasionally rangered. Complementary rounds are extended to PGA members and members of the GCSAA only. This should help clarify Mr Monteiro's displeasure with the staff and the golf course.
