Indian Springs Golf Club, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Middlefield, Connecticut.
Indian Springs Golf Club first opened for play in 1964. The course was designed by Al Zikorus.
This scenic, hilly 9-hole course has continued to raise the bar of golf course appearance and etiquette ever since it was opened. Although many of the fairways on this course are wide and forgiving, there are a number of blind shots to test your skill and accuracy! Play here is generally fast-as the greens can be. Be prepared to use every club in the bag.
#2 is a 446-yard par-5 that will lead you uphill and then into a challenging downhill approach into a green guarded by three sand traps.
#5 is a par-5, measuring 552 yards, featuring a fairway that skirts the woods and is followed by a sharp dogleg right dropping down to the green, ringed by trees.
Indian Springs Golf Club plays to a 9-hole par-36 and maximum 9-hole distance of 3,000 yards.
Blue tees: par-36, 3,000 yards, course rating 34.5, slope rating 116.
Red tees: par-36, 3,000 yards, course rating 36.6, slope rating 126.

Indian Springs is one of the better 9 hole courses in the state. If you want to stay proficient at your own game, or teach the game to your son, daughter, or spouse - then you really can't beat this course. It's a very good beginner level course that is in prety darn good shape. Pace of play can be slow at times. You can use all of the clubs in your bag here and there are regulation par 4's and 5's so you can even break out the drivers and fairway woods. I've played Indian Springs many, many times and it's a very good bargain.
