Highland was established in 1900 and remains a jewel amidst the urban setting of downtown Shelton. The course was designed by Frank G. Gates.
When played as an 18-hole course, Highland plays to a par 68 course and 5250 yards. The 9 hole layout is played twice utilizing the white tees for the front nine and the blue tees for the back nine. The 11th hole is played to a different green. Highland is a challenging mix of hilly terrain and target golf.

Played 18 holes in 3 hours. Among the best green conditions I've played all season. Don't let the yardage fool you - this is a challenging golf course. Alot of variety for just 9 holes - drivable par 4s, reachable (in two) par 5s, short, mid length and long (230 yards uphill work for you) par 3's. Small, fast, greens. Bring your short game!
