Ft. Walton Beach Golf Club is a Public 36 hole golf facility located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are The Oaks Course and The Pines Course.
The Oaks Course _________
The Oaks Course first opened for play in 1975. The course was designed by Jim Hughes. The back nine was added to the Oaks Course in 1994.
The Oaks Course is a shorter, more narrow course than The Pine Course with water that comes into play on four holes. There are several dogleg fairways, and the design puts an emphasis on precise placement off the tee. The greens are also very small, and sand bunkers are prevalent in the layout.

The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 503 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 128 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 390-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, the 183 yard par-3.
