The location is bounded by the Indian River to the west, the Atlantic to the east, a wildlife refuge to the north and the Blowing Rocks Nature Preserve to the south. The back nine meanders through a huge ornamental garden, with sweeping views of the river.

Water hazards coming into play on six holes, and the wind is always a factor. Caddies are mandatory if you choose to walk the course. The course is fairly narrow but very playable. The front nine is towards the East side of the property away from the intracoastal. The back nine has several holes that run along the intracoastal and are very easy on the eyes.
