Crane Creek Reserve, previously named Melbourne Municipal Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Melbourne, Florida.
This Donald Ross designed golf course first opened in 1928. The Melbourne Golf and Country Club opened in 1920 as a 6-hole golf course. Designed by M.K.V. Davis, it was expanded to a 9- hole course in 1921. In 1926, renowned golf course architect Donald Ross was hired to design a new 18-hole layout, and the golf course was officially opened in 1928.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 5,886 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,656 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 480 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 134 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 470-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Crane Creek Reserve Golf Course is # 16, a 336 yard par-4.

COURSE IS NOW CALLED "CRANE CREEK RESERVE". CONSIDERING IT IS THE "SEASON", IT IS A GOOD VALUE. TEE BOXES IN POOR CONDITION. GREENS OVERSEEDED AND VERY SLOW. FAIRWAYS IN FAIR CONDITION. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
