The Country Club Of Miami, is a Public, 36 hole golf course facility located in Miami, Florida. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses, The East Course and The West Course.
The older of the two course is the West Course. The West Course at The Country Club Of Miami opened in 1961. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones.
The Country Club of Miami West Course, is a 6,970-yard par-72 layout with a slope of 132, hosted the 1991 Senior PGA Tour National Qualifying School. Its treacherous bunkers, lush fairways, and rolling greens offer a challenging adventure. The course was the original site for the former National Airlines Open.

Gold tees: par-72, 6,468 yards, 71.6 / 129

The West Course is the only one open at this time. The East Course is closed for renovation until November (2008).
The West is the more difficult of the two courses. The fairways and greens are well-maintained and the greens are the fastest in the area (and putt true).
The only objection I (and other players) have is the length of the rough. The grass is so thick and "gnarly" that it is not unusual to lose two or three golf balls a round (and I am talking about only a few feet off the fairway!!!) Otherwise it is good test of golf and compares with Don Shula-s Golf Club and other courses nearby. The new practice putting green is excellent as is the driving range.
