Detailed description of Hammock Bay Golf Course

Hammock Bay Golf Course, previously named Marco Shores Country Club, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Naples, Florida. The golf club is owned by the Marco Island Marriott. 

The Marco Shores Country Club first opened for play in 1974.

The original course was a Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge design. The course was redesigned and reopened in 2004 as Hammock Bay Golf Course. The redesign was the work of Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy.

If you like wide open fairways, large waste bunkers, and a beautiful environment, this is your course.  In addition, there are seven sets of tees giving you plenty of options to choose from regardless of your ability.

Your need to UPDATE this course to HAMMOCK BAY - redesigned by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy. One of the areas best courses, handsdown.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level
