Oak Ford Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 27 hole golf facility located in Sarasota, Florida. Oak Ford Golf Club has three 9-hole golf courses. These courses can be combined in pairs to form three different 18 hole course challenges. The nine-hole courses are The Myrtle Course, The Palms Course, and The Live Oaks Course.
Oak Ford Golf Club opened in 1988. The course was designed by Ron Garl.
Oak Ford's three nine hole courses that are used in three eighteen hole combinations. The Myrtle/Palms Course combination is the most difficult. All three of these nine hole courses are distinct in and of themselves, so mastering the combinations will be a true test of golf. Deer, boar, and bobcats can be seen on the courses.

The courses were part of a 154-unit development - not enough residences to support a 27-hole golf course. However, located only 10-miles from Interstate Highway 75, Oak Ford was one of the busiest golf courses anywhere. In 1997, over 84,000 rounds were played at Oak Ford.

This Course goes through a series of conditions based on Revenue I imagine. Its a great course and generally a good value. The only drawback is the drive out to it , that quite frankly isn't really that bad.
